Short answer: no. Mushroom coffee neither lowers nor raises testosterone in any way that matters for a healthy man. Caffeine's effect in trials is small and points slightly upward, if anywhere. Why people ask whether mushroom coffee lowers testosterone

Three ideas feed the question. Does caffeine raise cortisol enough to matter?

Acutely, yes, and it is dose-dependent. In the rugby-player trial, 800 mg of caffeine before a session raised cortisol 44% and pushed the testosterone-to-cortisol ratio the wrong way, while 200 mg produced a smaller cortisol rise with most of the testosterone benefit3. What actually moves testosterone
